Are you listening? I mean really listening!

Listen....... Go outside & try it for 10 seconds....... Just stop and listen....

What do you hear?

As I do this with you as I type I can hear cars, a lid to a garden box being closed and my computer whirring.

Now let's try that again, but this time I want you to really listen,

What I want you to do is take 30 seconds, it's longer than you think, and use this time to really listen to everything you can possibly hear. You will probably have the feeling of straining your ears, try flexing those lobe muscles!

What did you hear this time? If you really concentrated I bet you heard a load more!

I heard birds, a person shouting instructions, an airplane, a lorry braking, a pigeon cooing, pop music and a dog barking.

What a difference don't you think?

When you actively listen you are really widening your awareness to your surroundings and this gives you own space to be in the moment, a really precious place.

In everyday life we tend not to actively listening and this could be with our partners, in work meetings or as we walk to a location we go to every day of the week! What difference would it make to actively listen more in these situations and in our lives? What possibilities could be created by being in that moment of Clarity?

Your ears are the key to opening your mind to possibility

Now I have offered you this skill, try and use it as often as you can! Flex those listening muscles and I guarantee that the space you create will provide you with Clarity and a sense of possibility.

"What a great place to be in.........; your moment"
